10 MINUTES IMPROVEMENT THAT WILL SPUR YOUR PRODUCTIVITY

I am sure you want to be productive which is the reason you are reading this article right now.

Before I proceed, I need to ask you this question?

Is it possible to birth something forth without a seed process?

The same implies to you being productive. You cannot be productive if you don’t have the right tools for productivity to spring forth.

In order for you to be productive, you need to prioritize your activities on a daily basis. (I call it the P.R. system). Don’t engage in activities that will not improve you nor improve others around you.

If possible, try and map out your daily activities; you can use your mobile journal app or moleskin.

I posted this article today within this time frame because I scheduled it for today.

However, you need to constantly remember that you cannot achieve anything if you are not determined to do it. I can decide to loaf for a month end, I will only fool myself not you. Remember that we are our “Worst Enemies.”

Don’t put what you can do today for an unknown tomorrow. Never allow the little pleasure of today rob you of a lifelong regret due to procrastination.

Turn off any form of distraction in prioritizing your activities, you can start small from little task to a more cumbersome task.

In scheduling your activities, don’t write what you don’t have the capacity to achieve. For example, saying “I want to read 47 Common Mistake Nigerian Bloggers Makes by Dayo Samuel today,” and you don’t have the book is fruitless. You need to schedule activities that are realistic and achievable.

Don’t over work yourself all because you want to be productive. Try and get enough rest and also eat.

You can also find time to observe what I call “ME TIME” (M.T.). It’s usually my Meditation Hours which I observe before I sleep.

I enjoy sleeping late because those moments are always insightful and renewing for me. If you want to know how and what I engage in during Meditation Hours, ask me and I will write an article about it. *chuckles*

Find time to read books that will add value, enlarge your horizon also listen to audio messages and attend seminars based on what you are seeking for.

At this point, you may be wrinkling your nose and thinking “I just cannot do it”. Its 9 minutes, stop the flow of that thought right now and Act. Yipee!!! Its 10 minutes.

Thanks for reading and see you in the comments section below.

SELFLESSNESS

Martin Luther king Jnr says “Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country”

Hello Everyone, Welcome to Inspire You.
I know we all are familiar with the word SELFLESSNESS. It means when a person cares enough to take a risk on their own without ever expecting a token in return of their deed, act or accomplishment.

This buttress what Malcolm Forbes said; “the true measure of a man is how he treat someone who can do him absolutely no good”
I know it takes a lot of determination and conscious effort on our part to be selfless. We have learnt covertly and overtly that a selfless person is either dumb or wasteful!

As a child we learn a whole lot of things; our parent, environment and the schools we attend has consciously formed who we became. We are in a society that doesn't preach selflessness and in other to survive; every man struggles for his/herself alone not thinking about his fellow neighbor and sometimes behave like a “parasite”.

Its left for us to unlearn every attribute of selfishness and begin to learn the ‘act of being selfless’

Mother Theresa and Nelson Mandela will forever be remembered for their selfless works.

I thought to myself how it would be if we all become selfless in Nigeria.

Sure Nigeria will become a great country where we will be living in peace, things will work out well. We would not have issues with electricity, security etc. But all of these can only happen if we all become Selfless in our deeds and respective fields.

This is a clarion call to all of us to become selfless for once and see if there won’t be a change. “The change we clamor for can only be achieve if we all decide to play our role, not minding if we die changing it”
